Top 5 Everyday Favorites

Some people love shoes, others love handbags, I love jewelry. I love looking at it, I love wearing it, I love shopping for it. I want to kick off my first blog post with my top five favorite everyday pieces:

No 5: The Twist Ring

The Twist Ring

This ring is a 14K solid gold staple in my everyday look for when I want to look good and look like I tried but in reality, I don’t have the time to put together a coordinated look. On its own or layered, it goes well with every outfit and adds some texture and depth to my look.

No 4: The Moonstone Ring

Rainbow Moonstone & Diamond Wish Upon A Star Ring

Full disclosure, I don’t actually own this piece. It is next on my jewelry purchase list though. I have it on my list because I love to look at jewelry as well, not just to wear it. Jewelry is to me as art is to others :). This piece is a favorite to look at because of the depth of the gemstone. It draws me in and gets my mind to focus on one thing, allowing me to feel relaxed and more calm overall. I also adore it’s unique rectangle shape in world where round-ish rings are more popular, and the star in the middle pulls me out when I get too lost in the depths of the moonstone.

No 3: The Stud

Cubic Zirconia Earrings

Perfect for the champagne girl (a girl who loves all things bubbly and sparkly, including their jewelry), this 4ct cubic zirconia earring adds a pop of brilliance to the face, with or without makeup. Every girl needs a stud that leaves them clutching their m*f*cking champagne pearls in joy.

No 2: The Chunky Necklace

Double Chain Link Necklace

Sometimes on the scale of minimalist to EXTRA, you want to be extra without being EXTRA. This chunky necklace is perfect for when I feel I need an oomph and some zhuzh in my everyday look but not looking like I’m hanging with Beyoncé at the Grammys (which would be a dream come true btw).

No 1: The Engagement Ring

Diamond Sapphire Round Cut Engagement Ring

My dear husband spent months in ideation, design and the production of the ring he felt was the best token of the love and affection he has for the woman of his dreams. When he was done, he was so excited by the ring he would take a break from work everyday, go home to take a look at it and go back to work :D. I love it because it is a token of our love and is gorgeous but above all, the intention and effort that went into it gets an A+ and a place at the very top of my list. It was created with Nick, a jeweler at BenBridge, University Village, Seattle.
